February 2014 Schedule 

at Spacious Heart Yoga Goshen

Sundays

2-3:15pm  Yin Class 

Yin is a form of yoga practice that focuses on allowing muscle to release so that connective tissue (the joints) are allowed to lengthen and strengthen. It is a quiet and meditative practice and will help cultivate stillness and challenge students as we hold poses for much longer than other practices.

Mondays

2:30p-3:45pm  Beginner’s Class 

This class is geared towards new students and those in the early stages of their practice. Focusing on alignment, breaking down poses as well as learning breathing and meditation techniques; this class will give students a strong foundation as they grow in their practice.

4-5:15pm  Vinyasa Class 

This is a vinyasa class (one pose flowing into the next) best suited to students who have some understanding of basic poses & alignment, however, all are welcome to attend this vigorous practice. The class will get your heart rate up & you might sweat a bit, so bring your own mat (if you have one) as well as water & a towel.

Thursdays

5:30-6:45pm  Beginner’s Class 

This class is geared towards new students and those in the early stages of their practice. Focusing on alignment, breaking down poses as well as learning breathing and meditation techniques; this class will give students a strong foundation as they grow in their practice.

7-8:30  Level 2-3 Class 

This is an advanced practice class best suited to students who have a strong understanding of asana and who are interested in cultivating a deeper practice- physically, mentally and emotionally. There will be some vinyasa, as well as breaking down transitions and challenging poses. Chanting, meditation, mudras may/will be covered during this class. This class isn’t only about asanas. It is for students ready to take their practices deeper in all ways.
