imgresAs much as I’ve been traveling and exploring , and as much as a break from teaching is necessary from time to time, eventually I remember that I can’t NOT teach. Whether on the mat or off, it’s part of me.

I’m back in the saddle again, as it were. I am teaching at The Studio in Elkhart, IN and Spacious Heart Yoga in Goshen, IN.   Check out my November Schedule below and hope to see you on the mat soon!

November 2014

The Studio ~ 124 S. Main St. Elkhart, IN

Saturdays

11am-12:30 Vinyasa Class

This is a vinyasa class (one pose flowing into the next) best suited to students who have some understanding of basic poses & alignment, however, all are welcome to attend this vigorous practice. This class is all about restoring the body & mind through gentle nurturing & lots of restorative adjustments. Using props to help the body to release tension and allow muscle to soften, this class is suited for anyone looking to de-stress and nurture themselves. The class will end in a guided Yoga Nidra (deep yogic sleep) practice to allow for the benefits of deep restoration.

This class is geared towards new students and those in the early stages of their practice. Focusing on alignment, breaking down poses as well as learning breathing and meditation techniques; this class will give students a strong foundation as they grow in their practice.

3:30-5pm Yin

Yin is a form of yoga practice that focuses on allowing muscle to release so that connective tissue (the joints) are allowed to lengthen and strengthen. It is a quiet and meditative practice and will help cultivate stillness and challenge students as we hold poses for much longer than other practices.
